I Am Auton
Gina is on a routine assignment, tasked to take out a murderous warlord. All of a sudden, the world she thought she knew is pulled from underneath her feet. She had forgotten who she was, but reality hadn’t forgotten her, and a horrifying enemy is unleashed; one that sends her on a collision course with worlds that seem beyond her control. Soon, she is joined by her friends, friends she never knew she had, as the mysterious ‘Auton’ joins their final fight for survival.
★Book 3 of the Survival Trilogy, where the multi-verse hides many secrets.
★ Book 3 takes the characters from the series into even deeper and darker worlds, worlds that are inhabited by creatures that would give the boogeyman nightmares. More epic in its scale than the previous two installments, this once again blurs the lines between Horror and Science-Fiction, as the fate of the characters reaches its finale.
★ I Am Auton once again flows at a furious pace, while still allowing time to get deep into the characters minds, as horror's that they never knew existed crawl out of dimensions that surround them. With situations that are as bizarre as they are varied, each character inhabits their own world, a world that eventually collides with the others. Book 3 is haunting and horrific in places, while at the same time being hopeful and poignant, as the characters battle to save each other.
READER REVIEWS
***** - Wright’s prose is crisp, and his insights into the insecurities and fears that drive his characters are sharp. The characters, especially Auton and Danny take more than their share of lumps as they try to save the humanity. Without losing momentum, Wright adeptly creates the sequence of events leading up to the final catastrophes. The scares are genuine, and suspense relentless. Through his excellent plotting and emotionally intelligent characterizations, Wright creates a chilly, roller-coaster read that will leave readers breathless at the edge of their seats until the last page is turned. The series proves a page-turning read for its winding narrative, nonstop shocking twists, and believably drawn characterizations of artificial intelligence and its human counterparts. Wright’s excellent blend of sci-fi and horror deserves a wide readership - Andy W
***** - What life would you live if you had infinite choices? Could you ever undo your mistakes and regrets?
The final chapter of the trilogy, brings a fitting end to a compelling narrative. All our heroes are back for the final battle, the last stand against the otherwordly forces of doom and despair. Wright’s eloquent prose, full of suspense and cinematic sequences will hook you until the last page. For musical fans there are a few easter eggs also if you pay close attention. Follow Auton, you won’t regret it - Spyros P
***** - Like the other two books in this rollercoaster ride series, I Am Auton is extremely detailed but easy to read. Combining an immersive atmosphere, cinematic viewpoints, and intriguing set pieces, this novel serves up a hefty portion of character development - characters that do things, not ones who sit around waiting for things to happen. They make things happen. Make decisions. The horror elements are surreal and vivid and fling the reader far into the past and future - Syd Henningson

***** - This was three times the thrill of the previous two books. Wright has been able to create sequels that don’t repeat the same ideas, with each one having its own central premise that propels the story. The multiverse the characters inhabit in these books is richly layered and uniquely strange, giving rise to some bizarre and thought-provoking ideas. Coming in at over 400 pages, it’s much longer and more detailed that the previous books, but that gives this one more space to develop the weird multiverse further. Despite its length, the pace is the same as the other books and hardly lets up. This is a great trilogy that really deserves more recognition and readership - C.Digiuseppe
